Safety in the house
Dream on 22 Sept 2012, Hong Kong

This is the dream I had 4 years ago:
Looking through the window from my home in Hong Kong, I saw military airplanes flying and bombing from a distance, over the mountain and sea in the background. Then I saw the bombings coming closer and closer in front of where we were staying so that we could feel the shaking of the places around us where the bombs hit. But the bombs did not hit us inside our home and none of us was hurt.
My first impression when I woke up from the dream was warning of spiritual attack, which was in line with the following scriptures describing satanic forces as “the prince of the powers of the air” (Ephesians 2:2).
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
Ephesians 2:1-3 NKJV
Interpretation
There are principalities and powers of the air in the world who want to bombard us with all kinds of attacks. But as long as we stay under the protection of the house of God, the enemy cannot touch us. There is safety and protection in the house. We need to build a strong house which the enemy cannot get inside to cause destruction.
The house of God must be built on the word of God. In the world outside where people walk in the ways of the world, they expose themselves to all kinds of demonic attacks. The attacks of the enemy are getting closer to the house of God, but a strong house cannot be shaken by demonic powers. However, if God’s people begin to live according to the values of the world, they too will be exposed to the same attacks of the enemy. When we are detached from the house of God, we move outside of God’s protection. But if we build a strong house based on God’s word and walk according to God’s ways, no attack of the enemy can harm us. The house of God is not a physical building but a spiritual body where people of God can find safety and protection.
