Hidden Bondages

Hidden bondages Author: unknown   John 8:31-32 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. Rom 8:15-16 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. These scriptures above are telling us that we have been set free, if we have made Jesus the Lord of our life, because whom the son sets free is free indeed. Remember God’s Word is truth, and the truth sets us free. In Romans 8:15 and 16...

Soul ties

Soul Ties by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond   There are times when we experience spiritual truth before we understand it. I am reminded of an occasion when a group of ladies invited me to teach them about the baptism in the Holy Spirit. In the midst of the lesson, one of the ladies interrupted me to ask, “Can’t you go ahead and pray for us to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit and explain it to us later?” Since it was scriptural, that is what I did. Remember the one hundred and twenty who were baptized in the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost? They had the experience before they understood it. My wife and I dealt with soul ties, through the ministry of deliverance, long before we had much understanding of them. In fact, long before someone introduced the designation “soul ties,” we referred to them as “unholy alliances” or “perverse...

Safety in the house

Safety in the house Dream on 22 Sept 2012, Hong Kong By Ivan Ho   This is the dream I had 4 years ago: Looking through the window from my home in Hong Kong, I saw military airplanes flying and bombing from a distance, over the mountain and sea in the background. Then I saw the bombings coming closer and closer in front of where we were staying so that we could feel the shaking of the places around us where the bombs hit. But the bombs did not hit us inside our home and none of us was hurt.   My first impression when I woke up from the dream was warning of spiritual attack, which was in line with the following scriptures describing satanic forces as “the prince of the powers of the air” (Ephesians 2:2).   And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the...

Does God love everyone?

Does God love everyone? By Ivan Ho       1 Oct 2016 “God loves everybody the same” so says some pastors and leaders. I have heard that being preached somewhere from the pulpit. My initial response was: “Does He really?” Needless to say, I did not agree with his teaching. I wasn’t questioning whether or not He loves me, but I was questioning whether or not God loves everybody, and if He does, whether He loves everybody the same? Frankly, I believe “God loves everybody” is a false teaching that comes from the spirit of error, a teaching which is made popular by some leaders, even though they may be speaking with sincerity of heart. I hope those of you who disagree with me would still love me for saying this. After all, you also “love everybody” regardless, right?   If “God loves everybody”, then nobody goes to hell at...
