I Samuel 17

Note on I Samuel 17 by Ivan Ho 30 July 2016   And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. He had a bronze helmet on his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail, and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of bronze. And he had bronze armor on his legs and a bronze javelin between his shoulders. Now the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and his iron spearhead weighed six hundred shekels; and a shield-bearer went before him. Then he stood and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, “Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me. If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be...

In tune with God’s frequency

In tune with God’s frequency by Ivan Ho 9 June 2021   Many people interpret the bible or dreams and visions according to their own limited understanding or according to their own circumstances, and thereby get into errors. When they read the bible or hear a message, their first point of reference is often self. When Abraham heard God speak about his seed, his initial thinking was directed towards someone who was born in his household as he had no child. That was his first error. After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. And, behold, the word of the...

Dream of group photoshoot

Dream of group photoshoot11 May 2021 In the dream I saw myself in a formal gathering with many guests in a beautiful hall. My cousin B was holding a video camera which he handed to me. I started playing around with the video camera, using my arm to adjust the focus distance, zooming in and out with the camera lens, while B was watching next to me. Then I moved to another hall and along the way I saw A sitting by herself at a big round dining table. As I walked pass the table, she was looking at me, but I wasn’t sure and did not say hello to her. When I arrived at another hall, I was standing in front of a wall alongside a group of mostly young people. Then I saw A walk up towards me and stand next to me on my left. She was dressed nicely in a white shirt and light blue trousers, and with light makeup. As the cameraman began to take the group photos, she leaned her face against...

The two sons of Abraham

on May 4, 2021 in 2021 | 0 comments

The two sons of Abraham by Ivan Ho 4 May 2021   There are typically two contrasting characters operating within the church: those who are of the Spirit vs those who are of the flesh. Both are living in the same house but they are fighting and struggling with each other within the same household. Abraham had two sons, Issac who was born according to the promise, and Ishmael who was born in the flesh. They represent two forces struggling with each other within the same family. Jesus often spent time with His Father and only did what He saw the Father doing. Those who are of the spirit are empowered by the Spirit of God, they follow the guidance and leading of the Spirit to do the will of the Father. When nothing seems to be happening in the physical realm, it doesn’t mean that things aren’t taking place in the spirit realm. Mind you, since God spoke through the...

The original design

The original design by Ivan Ho    22 Apr 2021 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.1 Timothy 2:13 KJV   Adam was created first then Eve was created to complete God’s creation. That is the divine order and pattern of creation. God created the woman and brought her to the man and the two became one. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.Genesis 2:21‭-‬24 KJV Eve was created as a helper to help Adam fulfill his God given destiny, not the...
