Jesus is Lord

Some scriptures declaring Jesus is God our Lord:   Scriptures before the Resurrection of Jesus   1. Jesus declares Himself being equal with God the Father   “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.  But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32‭-‬33   “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.  My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.  I and My Father are one.” John 10:27‭-‬30   “If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me;  but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe  that the...

The appointed time of fulfillment

The appointed time of fulfillment  By Ivan Ho   19 Nov 2020   When God speaks to you prophetically in a dream, in a vision, how should you respond to it? Most people have no idea and just carry on business as usual. Over time when nothing seems to happen they dismiss or forget about it. God spoke to Habakuk the prophet that shows us some important principles.   1. Write down the vision That is perhaps the easiest thing to do but a lot of people don’t do it. We don’t have to understand or try to interpret the dream which is a revelation about some future events or revelation about what is in God’s heart. There are things that God knows that we don’t and God is bringing revelation in the form of dreams and visions. The first step we need to do is write down as we receive them. If we don’t we will forget about it over time. Last year I browsed...

Humble yourself

Humble yourself by Ivan Ho    14 Nov 2020   How Lucifer became Satan Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.  Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of...

Prophetic words 04.11.20

Prophetic words Ivan Ho    4 Nov 2020   Last night our house church gathered as usual but it wasn’t a usual night. After worship, I volunteered to replace the person who was absent to be interviewed by other house church members. The following is a record of the prophetic words given to me by various group members. 1. Courage and desire to share gospel with foreign land 2. Strong foundation on the word of God 3. Picture of land flowing with milk and honey and a ladder to reach there 4. Picture of an umbrella over me 5. Peace over my life in difficult times The above prophetic words were given by different brothers and sisters in our house church. After I went home, I messaged a brother whether he too had a word for me during the meeting. Sure enough he did see a picture which he didn’t feel comfortable to share during the meeting, as follows: 6. Picture of a red horse...

Pathway to Eternal Life 2

Pathway to Eternal Life 2 By Ivan Ho 27 Oct 2020   Recently, someone said to me: “Isn’t it unfair that no matter what people have done in their lives, if they believe in Jesus they go to heaven, and if they don’t believe in Him they go to hell?” If that is your question as well, let me say this: “To believe in Jesus means you believe in who Jesus says He is, that He is the Son of God who came to earth about 2000 years ago and died for the sins of mankind, and that He was resurrected 3 days after. However, just because Jesus died for the sins of the world does not mean that everyone is saved automatically. Jesus says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16 He goes on to say: “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does...

Pathway to Eternal Life 1

Pathway to Eternal Life 1 by Ivan Ho 26 Oct 2020   Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”John 3:3   When Jesus says “cannot” he means “can’t, no way, not possible…”. Unless a man is born again in his spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God. If he cannot see the kingdom of God, he cannot enter in either. If he cannot see the kingdom of God, he is still in darkness. It doesn’t matter if he attends church regularly, sings in the choir, joins bible study classes, graduates from a seminary… if he is not born again, he does not belong to God’s kingdom. Nicodemus was a Pharisee, a religious group who try to adhere to the rules and regulations in the scriptures (plus rules they make up), but like most if not all Pharisees, he wasn’t yet born again....

Let Faith Arise

Let Faith Arise by Ivan Ho 24 Oct 2020 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:11   FAITH is personal and not everyone has the same measure of faith. Faith is something that can be developed in a person. When Sarah was told she would give birth to a child at her old age, she initially laughed at the idea. She even caused much pain and troubles by setting up Hagar to have child with Abraham. But ultimately she too was vindicated by her faith in giving birth to Issac. A person who has no faith in the beginning can develop faith if he holds fast to the word spoken over his life. Without the word of God, there is no substance to base our faith on. God is not impressed by the abundance of religious activities we involve ourselves in, nor is he impressed...
