On 16 Oct 2017<\/a>, I posted a note on social media as follows:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jesus is God the Son who took on the form of a man, not a man who became God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I have read certain preacher teach that “Jesus did miracles as a man empowered by the Holy Spirit, not as God.” If one buys into that false doctrine, all kinds of wrong conclusions would follow. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus Christ is God incarnate. He is God from eternity and never at any time ceased to be God. In order to save mankind, God the Son came into our world in the human flesh. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

It is a <\/span>false doctrine to suggest that “Jesus laid down His diety while on earth and performed miracles as a human being, not as God, in order to show us that we as humans can also do what Jesus did”. While I believe that we as disciples of Jesus can do what Jesus does, it is wrong to suggest that Jesus somehow set aside His diety and became a mere man on earth. Jesus took on the appearance of men but He never changed or forgo His divinity at any point in time on earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On the following morning on 17 Oct 2017<\/a>, I had a dream in which I saw myself preaching a message against the abovementioned heretical teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In my dream I preached a passionate message that goes like this: If Jesus performed miracles as a man and not as God, how could He demand people to worship Him? Many people could do signs and wonders and miracles but we do not worship them. Magicians did miracles but they are not God. Peter and John prayed for the healing of the lame man but they did not demand people to worship them. They gave glory to Jesus who did the miracle! If Jesus did miracles as a man, no one should have worshipped Him. No, Jesus did His works as God not as a man. That’s why He demands our worship!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
