Dangers of soulish prayers<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The dangers of soulish prayers when a person, including those in leadership, uses his soulish power to pray things according to his will and not God’s will. The same applies to “prophetic words” given by people who operate on the soulish realm that is not aligned with the Spirit of God. When a person uses his soulish power to will things into being outside of God\u2018s will, it releases demonic powers to latch on to that to try to cause these things to happen, and people would be deceived into thinking that it is God\u2018s confirmation. The devil works by deception and a person is deceived because 1. he does not know he is deceived and if he knew, he wouldn’t have been deceived in the first place or 2. he walks in deception and benefits from the deception. Demons can only have power over someone who steps outside of God\u2018s word and will for his\/ her life. When a person is walking in God\u2018s will, soulish prayers have no power over him.<\/p>\n

Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

James 4:1-3 NKJV<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The above scriptures strongly warns us against praying according to our soulish desires for our own pleasures instead of according to the Spirit of God. When a person prays that way, he or she immediately enters into a conflict, or as James put it, fight and war within the members. God says: “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures”, meaning that your prayers are led by your soul seeking\u00a0to feed\u00a0your own lustful desires and pleasures. When you pray in such manner,\u00a0you will not receive the things you ask from God. God cannot possibly grant you the ungodly desires of your flesh, but on the other hand, ungodly soulish prayers attract demonic spirits. That is why soulish prayers opposing God’s will\u00a0are very dangerous.<\/p>\n
