Where there is no revelation<\/strong><\/p>\n
A person who does not have revelation from above has no God given purpose, no priorities, no plans, no principles and therefore no restraint. People without heavenly vision\u00a0tend to\u00a0conduct their lives just like anyone in the world. They are not guided by God given purposes and have no sense of destiny. Instead, they are led by circumstances and by the people and happenings around them on the earthly level. A person without vision is easily led astray for he has no focus, following his own senses and\u00a0state of mind that is influenced by what happens on earth. When the devil throws a bait in front of him, he is gone.<\/p>\n
Once a person casts off restraint, he becomes a law to himself. Whatever feels right, looks right, is right in his eyes. A person without heavenly vision may be a good person or a church goer, but unless he sees things from God\u2018s perspectives and is governed by vision from above, he tends to conduct his life that is no different to an unbeliever.<\/p>\n

Where there is\u00a0revelation<\/strong><\/p>\n
On the other hand, when vision from God comes to us, it brings purposeful living and government in\u00a0our life.<\/p>\n
Peter the apostle used to be a person without vision, even during the early part of his life immediately after he responded to the call to follow Jesus.<\/p>\n
One day, the Spirit of God brought\u00a0Peter the revelation\u00a0that Jesus\u00a0is the Christ,\u00a0the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16<\/a>), a revelation that changed not only how he related to Jesus but also his entire perspective and focus in life. When Peter was young, he went wherever he wanted to go, but as he grew older, he was\u00a0bound by heavenly vision and went to places that he didn\u2018t want to go in the flesh (John 21:18<\/a>). He used to be guided by his feelings and instincts, but as he matured in Christ, his life was governed by the revelation he received from above. His life was no longer wayward but restrained by godly vision and purposes.<\/p>\n
Revelation allows us to see things the way God sees it. Unless we can see where God is going, we cannot move in the same direction with God.<\/p>\n
