The word of faith 2

Faith doesn’t come by googling and googling by the words of man. Much of the googling generation has little faith in God because we spend more time trying to acquire knowledge from the internet instead of studying the bible and hearing from God.
The Bible says:
“So then FAITH comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God” Romans 10:17
There is no other way by which faith comes to man. No one comes to faith in God and believes in what He promises without first hearing the word of God in a personal way. The word of God must come to him through other people or directly from God Himself.
Faith is a personal response in obedience to the word of God spoken to you and I.
We can love people, care for people, but unless they hear from the word of God, they will not come to faith in Christ.
My parents loved me and cared for me ever since I was born but I didn’t come to faith in Christ until I heard the gospel of Jesus spoken to me. After I heard the gospel, I sought after Jesus who made Himself real to me, and I put my faith in Him.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Whatever God speaks to us, we must have faith in obedience to His Word not only in our thoughts but also in our words and in our actions. If God tells you to go north and you head south instead, you’re shooting yourself in the foot, so to speak.
Abraham heard from God and obeyed His words in faith.
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
Not only did Abraham needed to have faith, Sarah also needed faith before the promise of God they received came to pass.
The seed that Sarah carried gave birth to Issac and from the lineage of Issac Christ was born, the Son of God who offered himself as a sacrifice by his death on the cross to redeem mankind from our sins. By His resurrection, Jesus has once and for all broken the curse of sin and death over our lives!
God said to Abraham: “In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” Genesis 22:18
The promise that God gave to Abraham was ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ.
When the word of God came to Abraham, he obeyed. When the word came to Issac, he obeyed. When the word came to Mary, she obeyed. When the word came to Joseph, he obeyed….
When the word of the Father came to Jesus, the Son obeyed!
For thousands of years since Abel to Abraham to Christ, it is all about faith in obedience!
If one thinks “all I need is love and be a nice person” without putting faith in Christ and obeying God’s words, he is deceiving himself. Perhaps he thinks that he can somehow walk in “faith” without hearing from God as long as he is making decisions based on “love and good faith (intentions)”.
Having love and good intentions won’t take you to heaven. Only by God’s grace and through faith in Jesus can we enter the Kingdom of heaven.
In the same way, we can’t see God’s words of promises being fulfilled in our lives without mixing faith with what we have heard from God. We must first see it’s fulfillment through the eyes of faith.
Through faith we have already seen the fulfillment in our spirit even though we haven’t yet seen it manifest in the physical realm.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
