The word of faith 3

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
If your so called faith has no substance and is based upon what is seen with your physical senses, it is no faith at all.
If you google “who is Jesus?”, it will take you to wiki which gives you a host of perspectives and opinions from people including Christian scholars and traditions, and views of Islam, Judaism, Bahai etc. Even His death and resurrection is a subject of opinions and debate, rather than a matter of historical fact.
That’s why no one could come to faith in Jesus by googling or consulting AI, which is another convenient and quick way of accessing a collection of data which may or may not be true. Unfortunately AI is fast becoming the source of knowledge for the present generation. I have also heard preachers conjuring up sermons using AI which is now infiltrating the churches.
Jesus asked His disciples: “Who do men say that, I, the Son of Man, am?“
So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Simon Peter answered and said: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!”
Jesus replied and said to him “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven“.
Jesus added: “You are Peter, upon this rock will I build my church, and the gates of hades will not prevail against it“. Matthew 16:13-18
No one can come to faith in Christ by consulting with flesh and blood. If you are led by the opinions of men and are making decisions based on what your friends or mother in law may think, you are not walking in faith.
If the church is built upon people’s ideas, professional knowledge and experience, no matter how knowledgeable and talented they may be, it will not be able to stand against the attacks of the enemy.
“Faith” based on the ideas of men and subjective feelings will also not be able to withstand the test of time and trials in life.
Our faith must be built upon the revelation of the word of God we receive. The word of God is not just a source of truth, it is the truth! Whatever God speaks, it is true for He is not capable of lying.
