How does evil enter the world?

People often ask: Why does a good God allow evil in the world? This was my question before I came to Christ. I thought Buddhism provided better answers, that bad things happen to people because they did bad things in their past lives (karma).
So why does God allow evil in our world? Why didn’t God stop the devil from tempting Eve in the garden of Eden? Let me offer my insights on the matter.
You see, Lucifer, who was an anointed angel, known to be gifted in music and put in charge of the music department in heaven, became satan because he wasn’t content with his assigned position and desired to be on the same level with God. He left his God given position and rebelled against the authority of God.
In fact, Lucifer had already been created before God created the heavens and the earth according to the book of Genesis, so he knew his way around the place.
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Not only did satan rebel against God, he went around talking to other angels and convinced one third of his friends to join him. Because of his pride, satan, together with the rest of the fallen angels, were casted out of heaven by God.
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
One needs to understand that satan doesn’t follow any positions and procedures and goes around like a free agent to cause all kinds of chaos and destructions to mankind. He came to the garden of Eden uninvited to speak to Eve. No one invited him, certainly God didn’t invite him either. Satan didn’t submit to any authority, he was his own authority to himself and accountable to nobody. We can’t blame God for putting the serpent in the Garden. Satan just went there by his own freewill.
To be continued.
