All things have become new in Christ

Happy New Year!
2020 has passed away and we have just entered into a new day, the first day of 2021.
In many ways, 2020 has been a forgettable year with all the crazy things that have been going on in our world. One of the most dreadful things that happened which affected the livelihood of millions upon millions of people around the world is of course a manmade pandemic that surfaced towards the end of 2019 in Wuhan China. We have experienced unprecedented lockdowns and restrictions of human activities in almost all parts of the globe, with much of our plans seemingly in disarray as a result. Apart from sicknesses and lost of loved ones, many businesses have been closing down, people have been loosing their jobs, churches have been forced to conduct services online, travel plans have been cancelled, and even election result in USA has been affected due to alleged fraudulent postal votes. The whole world seems to be in turmoil and in crisis mode as the result of the ‘plandemic’.
I say plandemic because what we have witnessed wasn’t something that came out of no where, and certainly not a natural phenomenon. It was the plan of our enemies to try to advance their schemes of control and takeover of our world by taking away more and more of our freedoms in the name of public health.
As we move into the new year, it remains to be seen if 2021 will bring an end to the global crisis. Whatever happens, God remains on the throne and Jesus is still Lord of all!
When God says: “old things are passed away, behold all things have become new”, He isn’t talking about the physical realm or the natural things around us. God is referring to the man, the spiritual being in the man or the woman. “Therefore if any MAN is in CHRIST, he is a new creation, old things are passed away, behold ALL THINGS have become new!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
