Warfares in the spirit

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:10-13
One thing we need to know about the demonic kingdom is that it has its own authoritative hierchical structures in which lower ranked demons have to obey evil powers above them without question. In other words, they follow orders to do all kinds of evils and destructions on earth. They are the dark forces that rebelled against God’s authority and established their own structures of powers. I dare say that any forms of government on earth that are not submitted to Christ and His commands have their roots in satanic powers. The extreme authoritarian governments on earth are just manifestations and copies of the evil powers in the air.
When people refuse to submit to Christ, whether they believe in democracy or not, are being subject to another form of authorities that are demonic in nature, and most of them are unaware of it. That’s the state of many people in the nations of the world.
People of God who follow Christ are not subject to evil powers because they are subject to the government of Christ who is the highest authority above all principalities and powers in heaven and on earth.
Fighting against authoritarian government without first and foremost submitting ourselves to Christ is a loosing battle.
God helped people like king David defeat his enemies on earth that are evil and perhaps more powerful than the enemies we face today because David knew God and followed His instructions. David did not fight against Goliath in his own strength and the authority of self. Mind you David did not just pray but went to face Goliath in the name of the Lord of hosts.
Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
I Samuel 17:45
Our battles are first won in the spirit realm!
